At Amazing K, our fees support a highly specialised educational environment with small class sizes, speech-centred learning, communication support, trained educators and individualised intervention throughout the school day.

 

We understand that families need clear financial information, and our admissions team is happy to guide you through all costs associated with enrolment.

Fee Information

Fees are based on your child’s placement and attendance schedule.

School fees vary according to the age of the child, programme placement and the number of hours attended each day.

 

Because placements are individually determined, Amazing K does not publish a fixed fee structure online.

What Fees Support

Flexible Placement Options

Programme options designed around each child’s needs.

Every child develops differently. Our programme options allow us to recommend the most appropriate attendance schedule based on age, developmental needs, stamina for group learning and family circumstances.

Full-Day Programme

7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Recommended for most learners and provides the greatest opportunity for communication development, social interaction and structured intervention.

Mid-Day Programme

7:30 am – 3:00 pm

A shortened day option for children who may benefit from a gradual increase in learning hours.

Half-Day Programme

7:30 am – 1:30 pm

Suitable for younger learners, transitions into a school environment or families requiring shorter attendance.

Afternoon Bridging

1:30 pm – 4:00 pm

Designed for children transitioning into structured group learning and school readiness programmes.

Afternoon Bridging Programme

The Afternoon Bridging Programme is designed for children transitioning from one-to-one intervention, home-based learning or less structured environments into a small-group educational setting.

 

The programme focuses on communication development, social integration, group participation, attention skills, fine motor development and school readiness foundations.

 

Our goal is to make specialised autism education and intervention accessible to as many families as possible while maintaining the high levels of support, individual attention and communication-focused teaching for which Amazing K is known.

Flexible Placement Options

Shorter attendance options may support younger children or those building stamina.

Some children may be transitioning into a school environment, building confidence in group learning or needing a more gradual entry point into specialist autism intervention.

Additional Costs & Family Contributions

We believe families should have a clear understanding of all costs associated with enrolment before joining Amazing K.

 

In addition to monthly school fees, families should be aware of the following:

Admission & Placement Fee

A once-off admission and placement fee is payable when a child is offered and accepts a placement at Amazing K. This fee secures the placement and covers the administrative and assessment processes required for enrolment.

 

Annual Stationery Fee

An annual stationery fee is charged to cover the educational materials, classroom resources and learning supplies used throughout the school year.

 

Food & Lunchboxes

Families are asked to provide their child’s own meals, snacks and drinks each day.

Toilet Training Supplies

For children who are still in nappies or actively toilet training, families are asked to supply nappies or pull-ups, wet wipes and any personal toileting items required by the child.

 

Termly Hygiene Supplies

Families are asked to contribute basic hygiene supplies each term, such as tissues, wet wipes, hand soap or hygiene products when requested.

 

A detailed supply list is provided at the beginning of each term.

No Hidden Costs

We work hard to keep our fee structure simple and transparent.

 

Apart from the items outlined above, Amazing K does not routinely request additional payments throughout the school year. Any optional activities or special events will always be communicated clearly to families in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions About School Fees

Do you publish your fees online?

Because programme placements and support requirements vary between children, we provide the most current fee information directly through our admissions team.

Is there an enrolment fee?

Yes. A non-refundable enrolment deposit is required to secure a placement once a space has been offered.

Can I claim Amazing K fees from my medical aid?

No. Amazing K is an educational and intervention centre and not a medical practice. School fees are therefore not claimable directly from medical aid.

Can Amazing K fees be included as part of a disability tax claim?

Many families include their Amazing K school fees as part of their annual disability-related tax submissions to SARS.

 

Families should consult their accountant, tax practitioner or SARS directly regarding eligibility requirements and supporting documentation required for the ITR-DD disability tax claim process.

 

Where applicable, Amazing K can provide supporting documentation relating to fees paid during the relevant tax year.

Are fees payable over school holidays?

Amazing K operates according to the annual school calendar. Full details regarding fee structures and holiday periods are provided during enrolment.

Can my child attend part-time?

Programme availability varies and can be discussed during the admissions process. When spaces are available, Amazing K may allow for three-day-a-week attendance.
