5 days of Workshops: Teaching children with autism

  • Monday – AUTISM at home or in the classroom – how autism affects the child’s ability to learn and grow.
  • Tuesday – COMMUNICATION, LANGUAGE & SPEAKING – what you can do to help your child communicate.
  • Wednesday – Behavior in class, behavior towards work, defiance and tantrum – teaching autistic children.
  • Thursday – knowing where the child is developmentally and what to start working – the curriculum you choose to implement
  • Friday – restrictive repetitive behaviors.

Who should attend this course?

Course ideally suited for:  au-pairs working with children with autism, parents starting their homeschool journey with their pre-school autistic child and/or pre-school teachers that have children on the spectrum in their ECD centers.

When is this course?

  • Webinar/online training: 10 – 14 August 2020
  • Face-to-face training in Randburg: 3 – 7 August 2020 *FULLY BOOKED*

How long is the course?

  • Mon – Friday 14h00 to 17h00
  • 5 days (3 hours per day) 15-hour workshop
  • To maintain social distancing during face-to-face training we offer 6 – 8 spaces per workshop ONLY
  • We recommend attending the entire 5 days workshop, but you can attend selected days too

How much does it cost?

  • Face-to-face training: R300 per day
