Limited 2026 spaces available for children needing early intervention support in speech, language, sensory and behaviour.

What to know before applying for admission at Amazing K

Many of the families who come to us at Amazing K Academy have the same questions:

  • Do I need a diagnosis before I apply?
  • What does the process involve?
  • When should I start?

Let’s answer some of these for you:

The first thing to know is that admission at Amazing K is not based on a diagnostic label. While many of our children have autism or other neurodevelopmental challenges, families do not need a formal diagnosis to apply.

What matters most is whether a child would benefit from extra support in areas such as speech and language, sensory processing, attention, or behaviour.

Because our classes are small and spaces are limited, we encourage parents to apply as early as possible.

Our Northwold campus, for example, has already filled all its 2026 places, while Sharonlea has only a handful of spaces open in the 3–4 year and 4–5 year age groups.

This isn’t about exclusivity—it’s about ensuring quality. We only bring in a small number of new learners at a time, so that each child has the chance to settle, build trust with their teachers, and feel secure before another new learner joins the class.

The process of applying is simple at our neurodivergent school

The fastest way is to complete the contact form on our website, where you can provide us with some information about your child and your family’s needs. You are also welcome to email us directly at marketing@amazingk.co.za or ilsa@amazingk.co.za.

Once we receive your inquiry, a member of our management team will contact you to discuss the next steps. For most families, this means a conversation with our team, followed by a visit to the school, where you can observe our classrooms, meet our therapists, and learn about our approach to care.

What makes Amazing K different is not just our admissions process, but the philosophy behind it:  “We are not a school that fills classes for the sake of numbers.” We are an early intervention centre that prioritises the needs of children.

To initiate the process, please get in touch with us today. Enrolments for 2026 are now open, but with only a limited number of spaces available, they will close soon. A simple enquiry is all it takes to start a conversation about your child’s future—and we would be honoured to be part of that conversation with you.
